Wycombe Wanderers FC joined the TeamCard team in 2008 as the first sports club to introduce the B-Ted, Barcode Terminal Entry Device, the latest access technology introduced to clubs from Scotcomms Technology Group.
From season start, August 2008, Wycombe Wanderers season ticket holders have been using The Blues Card to act as their stadium access and value added membership card, also using it as a loyalty card which allows them to utilise the many benefits of collecting points with the TeamCard network of partners to lower the cost of their support.
The club initially introduced up to 2000 Blues Cards (TeamCards) to season ticket holders, and followed with membership cards which are allocated to registered members as they join the programme. Since joining, the number of TeamCard holders at Wycombe Wanderers FC has more than doubled, and continues to grow.
