Scotcomms looking to expand amid economic slump
Scottish company Scotcomms Technology Group is planning an ambitious growth initiative in the midst of the current recession.
The St Andrews based software solutions company is bucking the trend which sees UK businesses suffering amid increasing economic gloom. It is aiming to expand its operations through a series of target acquisitions and diversification.
It has taken the first step by the appointment of Thomas Lloyd Capital LLC to act as financial advisors to help implement a growth strategy through a series of target acquisitions to enable growth within existing markets, or, to diversify by geography or sector.
Scotcomms Technology Group (STG) is the UK’s leading provider of advanced membership solutions. It currently has 13 full-time employees based in St Andrews and two further sales staff based in the North West of England.
The company specialises in the design and delivery of card-based systems utilising a range of card technologies to create features such as membership, ticketing, loyalty and electronic visitor passes. All deployments can be managed and monitored from their central web-hosted platform.
STG has an enviable client list which includes; the Football Association, the Lawn Tennis Association, Chelsea FC, Celtic FC, Bolton Wanderers FC, Crystal Palace FC, Millwall FC, Ipswich Town FC and London Wasps.
It also delivers solutions and systems for electronic city visitor passes to the Leisure Pass Group with system deployments across the world. Cities currently operating with this technology include London, Paris, Stockholm, New York and Philadelphia.
