Less than 9 months after the introduction of the high-street heavyweight to the TeamCard partner line-up, ASDA, in Ipswich, recently awarded their 1 Millionth TeamCard point.

ASDA, in conjunction with TeamCard, and with the support of Ipswich Town Football Club, has promoted the TeamCard proposition to supporters in their area. Cardholders have benefitted from 'Double Points' promotions, special offers and giveaways, all helping to add benefit to their shopping experience and reduce the cost of supporting their club.

ASDA, who became a TeamCard partner at the start of the 2008/2009 season, are delighted with the loyalty programme's success. ASDA's store manager, Dave Paris, commented,

"ASDA is delighted to congratulate ITFC TeamCard holder Gareth Saul on being the millionth TeamCard point collector. By working with Ipswich Town and their fans we have been able to save Town fans even more money every day and make their shopping go that little bit further for them, as every pound spent in ASDA means a TeamCard point to be spent at Ipswich Town.

The scheme is a fun and exciting activity for all involved and the fact that a million points have now been allocated is testament to that."
