In September 2009, Livesmart asked Scotcomms to build a transactional platform to host their existing card schemes and to provide a more flexible solution that offered more cardholder value and the opportunity to address new sectors.

Livesmart existing card schemes included:

• Liverpool “08”
• Your ticket to Liverpool
• Big Merseyside Adventure
• Imagine Liverpool

The first phase of the project would require the seamless transfer of the card schemes to the new operating platform whilst maintaining full operational card use and no loss-of-service to the customers.

In January 2010 the work was completed with over 100,000 cardholders across four schemes going live on the new platform with no loss of service.

Livesmart are now concentrating on the second phase of the project; applying the new features that the Scotcomms platform delivers, to a range of new opportunities across the UK.
