Celtic Football Club joined forces with TeamCard in 2006, introducing a tiered season ticket and membership scheme to their supporters. Celtic FC were the first in Scotland to introduce TeamCard, and later, the first to introduce the TeamCard fob as an additional and alternative medium with which supporters can engage in the TeamCard reward system.
Celtic Football are also the first within the TeamCard scheme to introduce TeamCard fobs as a retail item, available at all official Celtic retail outlets throughout Britain and Ireland. All fobs are sold for £1 and come pre-loaded with 200 TeamCard points – more than covering the cost of purchase for the fan.
