Randal McLister

Randal founded Scotcomms in 1993, having previously had a varied career including; HM Forces, BT and DeLaRue Fortronic. He has created card based solutions for a diverse range of sectors over the years from fuel retailing, energy pre-payment, regional/town cards, and retail loyalty, to TeamCard for the sports sector.

His role is that of Group Managing Director

David Robb

Dave re-joined Scotcomms in 2000 having previously worked with us in 1994/5. He had been with Calluna Technology where he served as Director of Engineering and was solely responsible for the development of the Hardwall product range. David holds a first class honours degree in Computational Science and Electronics and a PhD investigating aspects of computer system security. He is cited as inventor on 7 patents, and patents pending, relating to protection systems for personal computers.  

His role is that of Technical Director responsible for product design, engineering and delivery.

Jennifer Roy

Jennifer has been with Scotcomms since January 2007. Originally from Canada, Jennifer worked as Creative Director and Broadcaster with local radio group Coultis Broadcasting in Southern Ontario.  Since her arrival in Scotland, she has worked in PR and Marketing in the golf, film and internet marketing industries.

 

Jennifer’s role with Scotcomms is that of Marketing Manager, working closely with our clubs and partners.

Kevin Dixon

Kevin joined Scotcomms in early 2007. After a successful career as a professional footballer with a premiership club Kevin went on to work as Sales and Marketing Manager with a well known north-east based plastics manufacturer.  Kevin brings with him a unique blend of sales knowledge and insight into the football industry.


Kevin’s role is that of Partner Account Manager, responsible for the recruitment and management of TeamCard Retail Partners. 

Justin Lynn

Justin joined Scotcomms in early 2002 having studied both Zoology and Applied Computing at University. His original role with the company was as a Programmer; in 2004 he moved across to the Operations Team and is the voice of technical support to most of our clients.

His main role is client support via the helpline; he is also involved in software testing and systems deployment.

James Brough

James is the most recent recruit to the technology team at Scotcomms. Joining in 2005, he has rapidly proven himself an indispensable member of the team and has moved from supporting other developers to full responsibility for and development of projects, including the new Scotcomms.co.uk and TeamCard.co.uk websites with full content management system implementation.

 

James’ position is that of Graduate Programmer

Steven Saunders

Steven joined Scotcomms as a Graduate programmer with skills in web database application design.
Since joining the team he has been the key developer in a number of projects, including: The TeamCard intranet; The TeamCard Web View for TED control; the Leisure Pass Group LPOS system and the TeamCard Lite Web Hosted membership platform. Steven also provides escalated support for these systems as required.

 

Steve holds the position of Senior Programmer, responsible for lead development of many key components of the groups systems.

Ken McRobb

Ken's involvement with Scotcomms goes back to 1997. He's been a full-time member of the team for the last 3 years. Originally a solicitor, Ken moved into sports broadcasting and has also been a director of a successful marketing agency.

He looks after the operational management of STG and is Company Secretary.

Alasdair Macdonald

Alasdair is the longest serving member of the team having joined in 1994. In 1989 he graduated from St.Andrews with an honours degree in Applied Mathematics after which he ran Ealanta technologies with Dave Robb before joining Scotcomms. He is the key developer behind all of the company products.

His role is that of Development Manager leading the development team.

Jenny Tait

Jenny has been with the company since 2002, coming form a media sales background with the Guardian Media Group.   Jenny is the day to day face of TeamCard at all of our football clients, delivering full support on all levels.

Her role is that of Account Manager for all TeamCard clients.

Vic Leitch

Vic joined Scotcomms in early 2000 bringing with him 11 years experience in both hardware and software development. He is a major contributor to the product development and is responsible for all aspects from concept to completion.

His role is Software Development and Technical Project Management. 

Patrick Beard

Patrick joined the company in 2000 initially in the role of system testing having fulfilled a similar position with his previous employer, PCMCIA disk drive pioneers, Calluna Technologies. Over the years his role has expanded covering all of our IT & connectivity issues internally and externally.

His role is that of Systems Administrator dealing with all IT requirements.

Anne Hastie

Anne joined Scotcomms in 2000. She is the main point of contact for all account enquiries and office administration. Anne handles all travel and scheduling arrangements, ensuring we are where we should be, when we should be there.

 

Anne’s role is that of Office Manager

Sarah Cooper

Sarah joined Scotcomms in 2003 and is the voice of Scotcomms as your first point of contact for all general enquiries. Her duties include administration, accounts and assisting in production. Sarah is also the point of contact for all enquiries relating to Shetland Pass.
